Oldcastle Precast Inc. is happy to announce the addition of Vanguard Products Corp. of Topeka, Kansas to our precast family. Vanguard is a 40+ year old business manufacturing Concrete Pipe, Drainage Structures, Catch Basins, Sewer Manholes and a variety of Cast Iron Castings and Steel Grates. Vanguard serves the Topeka, Lawrence, Manhattan and Wichita areas.
Vanguard is located in the center of the Mid West and will be a platform for future growth. Vanguard Products Corporation began operations in Topeka, Kansas in 1966 producing precast concrete manholes for the local market. The company now employs over 60 persons in the manufacture and sale of precast concrete products to a regional market. Items manufactured included reinforced concrete pipe, manholes, curb inlets, box culverts, junction boxes, and custom designed products. These products are used in the sanitary infrastructure of cities, storm drainage systems for streets and highways, and the power and communication utilities. Sales and manufacturing functions are located at the companys NW 17th Street, Topeka, Kansas site.
